A presentation by Aaron Ordower regarding the Blue Ribbon Commission on Climate Action and Fire Safe Recovery (“Commission”), formed by Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath in partnership with the University of California, Los Angeles, in response to the January 2025 wildfires. The Commission will provide expert-driven recommendations focused on fire-safe reconstruction, resilient infrastructure, faster rebuilding, and equitable recovery. The Commission will release its first set of recommendations within three months.
