Amendments to Title 21 (Subdivisions) and Title 22 (Planning and Zoning) of the Los Angeles County Code to strengthen standards for development located within the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones and Hillside Management Areas to reduce risks to life and property from wildfires. The Project was recommended for approval by Regional Planning Commission on June 14, 2023. Subsequent procedural and substantive changes have been made to the Project. The Regional Planning Commission is to consider the Project as a whole, including the new and previously proposed amendments.
