The Applicant proposes the construction of five new manholes along the existing 24-inch outfall pipeline which runs for approximately 2,250 linear feet from the Tapia Water Reclamation Facility to Malibu Creek. These manholes are intended to provide access for inspection of the pipeline to determine where the pipeline repair work will be implemented. The project will be implemented in two phases, the first phase is construction of the manholes. The second phase will be the repair work identified following inspection. It is anticipated that the repair work will be a trenchless rehabilitation method.
