To consider the Community Wildfire Protection Ordinance, which amends Title 21 (Subdivisions) and Title 22 (Planning and Zoning) of the Los Angeles County Code to strengthen standards for development located within the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones and Hillside Management Areas to reduce risks to life and property from wildfires and other disasters. This project is categorically exempt (Class 7 – Actions by Regulatory Agencies for Protection of Natural Resources, and Class 8 – Actions by Regulatory Agencies for the Protection of the Environment) pursuant to CEQA reporting requirements.
